Marz Team Nominated For Two 2020 Visual Effects Society Awards

The team at Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies (MARZ) is proud to see our work recognized at the 2020 Visual Effects Society (VES) awards, with nominations for our work on HBO’s Watchmen and Netflix’s Living With Yourself.

The two nominations are both for outstanding work in photoreal episodes.

MARZ compositing artists Iyi Tubi, Perunika Yorgova and Mitchell Beaton, alongside MARZ VFX Supervisor Nathaniel Larouche, were nominated for excellence in their compositing of the Watchmen pilot.

MARZ VFX Supervisor Tristan Zerafa was nominated alongside the overall VFX team behind Living With Yourself, for the incredible supporting visual effects in the season finale of the show.

The nominees for the 18th VES awards were announced on January 7th, with features and TV shows such as Avengers: Endgame, The Lion King and The Mandalorian being nominated for several awards.

The VES awards, which are a yearly celebration of the pinnacle of technology and talent in visual effects, will be handed out on January 29th.
